If I open a dollar account at Bangkok Bank and deposit 800,000 baht, does that satisfy the requirement for a retirement visa? Or do the regulations specify That baht accounts?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To qualify for a retirement visa in Thailand, the regulations specify that the funds must be held in a Thai baht account. Depositing 800,000 baht in a foreign currency account, such as a dollar account at Bangkok Bank, does not satisfy this requirement.
