Hi, my DTV visa was approved in HCMC on first try. Quite surprised as I am in my early 20s (M) but I’d say I really wrote a 10/10 cover letter communicating my work and future plans very well. I applied under the soft power category.
My girlfriend is a Chinese citizen (29F) and she got rejected twice in HCMC and Hanoi. Her application is quite strong with a strong stock portfolio and real estate in China besides the 500k baht requirement. She also had recurring income. Both of us used the same Muay Thai school but only she got rejected.
Desperately looking for any advice on what our next steps should be? What embassy should she re-apply from as a Chinese citizen? Also, open to chat with any lawyers if you have recommendations.
Hi, me and my partner just moved to Chiang Mai last week, wanna stay long term here. I'm a chinese citizen holding a 2 month tourist visa in thailand, looking for some advice or similar experience you had or heard of.
I would like to change my visa to a long term visa type when next time apply, as far as i know, studying a Thai language lesson to get ED visa is the most legit choice.
So any recommendation of school or institute to choose, which can balance between valuable thai lessons and flexibility of time?
I'm also looking into studying other skills like self-defense classes, but it can be difficult for chinese citizen to get a visa, since some schools can't promise the visa application can be smoothy for chinese citizens.
Do you know any chinese friend that got this type of ED visa? and how much you know about the process and difficulties?
I want to change my visa type when i run out 2 month on early November, and the only option for me is to go back to China and apply again, the last choice is i apply another tourist visa to come back, but since it is a bit different from many western citizens doing visa run, I'm not sure whether if i can get another tourist visa right way or will i get rejected?
Also any advice could be helpful and welcomed! Thank you so much!😀
