LF recommendations / suggestions:

I am married to a Thai citizen. I have a 7 year old daughter from previous failed relationship who is currently residing in the PH.

Currently I am in Thailand under Non-Immigrant O visa and planning to go back to Philippine and bring my kid to Thailand for good.

Can you suggest to me what visa should I use aside from the Student visa? (the student visa was recommended by the Royal Thai Embassy)

>> I have a problem with student visa. I cannot get the requirements from the Sarasas school because the pre-requirement is that my kid should be able to write and read in Thai language. Therefore, I want to bring her first to Thailand and learn everything once she arrives here and enroll her to school once she is capable to read and write in Thai.

If I find a job before I go back to PH and get a working visa, would that help and can I apply for my kid the non-immigrant dependent O visa?

Anyone? Please enlighten me. I feel frustrated. Thus, inter-country adoptation will take 4 years of processing also šŸ˜ based from google.

I'm currently on a 1 year non-o based on raising thai child visa which will end in January. This is my first year on that visa so when I got it I received 1 month "under consideration", someone from the immigration came to my place to see if everything is legit and after that I got the other 11 months stamped.

My question:

Will I get again the 1 month stamp or directly 12?

Responsible immigration is the one in Chiang Mai. I called them but they just send me around and couldn't give me a clear answer. In summer I went to the south with my kid to avoid the smoke hence my tm30 changed for a while but is now back to my initial place when I did the visa.

Hi!

Iā€™m currently holding a DTV visa and my husband is holding retirement visa. We have a daughter that turn one year old next month. She was born in Thailand.

I intended to apply for her as dependent with DTV but we couldnā€™t do it because I didnā€™t have enough 1M baht for both of us. Is there any way that I can connect my daughter with my husband visa? Or anything we can do to get her a long term visa? I have read that child is under 12 yrs old can be overstayed without a fine but weā€™re worried to be fool around with the rules because we will travel back and forth Thailand a lot. Thank you so much for your advice!

I am getting the DTV visa with my wife, we have a one year old, should we get our kid a visa too if we have the money and requirements. Or is it not worth getting him a visa? We plan on coming in and out of Thailand often during our 5 years.

Hi,

My child goes to an international school in Phuket on Non ED visa. He needs to extend his initial 90-day visa to 1 year.

Can I do it for him at Blue Tree?

What papers do I need to bring?

Do I need to make an appointment?

He will also need to apply for his multiple re-entry permit after his 1-year extension is approved. Can it be done on the same day or a different day?

Parents who applied for the Visa for their children...

Our 2 year old son clearly doesn't have proof of funds, or access to our bank accounts, was this an issue when you started the visa process?

How did you work around this?

Urgentā“ā“

Currently, I am on a non-ED master's visa, and my baby (3 years old) is on a dependent visa. Our visas are going to expire on June 19.. I am planning to obtain a one-year language visa.

1. School A is not providing a visa for my baby.

2. School B will provide visas for both my baby and me in September, as they are currently fully booked.

Is it possible to obtain a visa from School A and keep my baby here until September, then change to School B and get visas for both of us? What are the potential consequences? Will immigration issue a visa for my baby given that it would be an illegal stay for three months?
