I am getting the DTV visa with my wife, we have a one year old, should we get our kid a visa too if we have the money and requirements. Or is it not worth getting him a visa? We plan on coming in and out of Thailand often during our 5 years.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The poster is considering whether to obtain a visa for their one-year-old child while securing a DTV visa for themselves and their spouse. One comment notes that while children technically require visas like adults, those under 15 cannot be fined for overstaying, and children under 18 cannot be banned. Thus, it would generally be fine to bring the child in and out of Thailand without a visa as long as they hold a valid passport.
While technically children need a visa to be here just like grown ups keep in mind that children under 15 cannot be fined for overstay and children under 18 cannot be banned.
You aren't gonna have any issue bringing a little child in and out of thailand (as long as they hold a passport that gets them IN without needing a visa π ). Nothing will happen to them, and nothing will happen to you if they overstay their free entry stamp
