Do I need to submit a separate visa application for my child when applying for a tourist visa to Thailand?

Hi All. I’m travelling to Thailand with my 2 year old son and planning to apply for a 60 day tourist visa. It asks for names of minor children (if accompanying) on this form. Presumably then I do a separate visa application form plus the fee for him as well, and the info on my form is just to link the two applications? Thanks for confirming.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a tourist visa to Thailand with a minor child, you need to submit a separate visa application form and fee for the child. The application's request for the names of minor children simply serves to link your application with your child's application.

Yes, each passport gets its own visa/application.

- sorry another question - Australia uses paper rather than E-forms. It says ‘visa fees can be paid by exact amount of cash, money order or bank cheque’. Any idea - is it literally ok to just put $60 into the envelope with the application?! Thanks!

I'd never mail cash personally. Money order is the safest.

- yes seems odd to me too. I wasn’t sure money orders even existed anymore! I’ll ask at the post office. I just assumed I could pay online and include a reference number or something, but seems not …
