Can anyone suggest where to go for the police criminal check certificate?

Answer summary

To obtain a police criminal check certificate in Thailand, you can visit the police station complex located across from Central World in Bangkok, near the Siam BTS station. It is advisable to bring identification photos and a copy of your last work permit, as these may be requested. Note that experiences may vary, and it's important to be aware of potential additional charges or complications from authorities.

Got my police clearance certificate at the police station complex across the street from what was then called Central World in BKK. Near Siam BTS. It was in color and looked like a HS diploma. Bring the usual pics, couple or hundred THB. They asked me for a copy of my last work permit. Not sure why. Luckily had a scanned copy. I needed the clearance for a ret visa. But that was 5 yrs ago. Things change so YMMV. Good luck.

sorry, cannot help with that. You might want to ask Richard Barrow, he is a wealth of knowledge of Thailand or try messaging Trunk Travel. Good luck.

Can't remember exactly the building but if you show up around there and ask you will find it easily. You may have to book an appointment in advance. I had to once but not the other time. This is the website

need it for work permits or teaching license. Can't remember exactly which office you need it for because it's all just a bureaucratic hassle that blends into one.
