TLDR : Answer Summary
If you've lost your TM30 while renewing your 1-year visa in Thailand, it's best to know that experiences can vary depending on the immigration officer you encounter. Some applicants may not need to present the TM30 or other documents like the 90-day report. You may follow up by filing a new TM30 online if necessary. It's also mentioned that for certain passport holders, specifically Africans, a criminal record check might still be required during the visa renewal process.
90 DAY REPORTING RESOURCES / SERVICES
  • Use the trusted Thailand 90 Day Reporting Serviceto get your in-person report done and mailed to you for as low as 375 THB (even if the online system doesn't work for you).
  • For immediate assistance, contact Thai Visa Centre directly via LINE at @ThaiVisaCentre or Email them.

Follow-up: back from visa renewal at Chaeng Wattana and no mention of either TM 30 or 90 days advice. They do, however, still insist on criminal record check for African passport holders.

you're asking a question no one on the group can answer.

It's gonna come down to the officer you're sitting in front of when you apply for the year extension.

I was with two different friends last week in Bangkok, one needed the TM30 and a copy of their last 90 day report, one didn't ๐Ÿ˜ฎ They even had the SAME immigration officer too, just different times on different days

Worst they can do is make you file a new one
