I note for a non-immigrant O-A visa application, evidence of no criminal record is required from your county of residence, but it appears is less clear if this is also needed for a non-O type application (which is what I will be doing).
If it still necessary (and that would seem logical), what is the easiest way of downloading a non-O type application form, as to obtain a Certificate of Clearance from the police in Singapore where I currently live, one of their requirements is documentation to show the need for such a report to be produced.
Thanks
TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion addresses the requirements for a non-immigrant O visa application in Thailand, specifically questioning whether a criminal record check is mandatory. Comments indicate that most embassies do not require such a check for a non-O visa, and the process for obtaining necessary documentation in Singapore is described as primarily online with uncertainty about the need for forms. Additional insights reveal personal experiences with the visa process, stating that neither a criminal record check nor health insurance was required.
