Hello, I am a 33 year old Norwegian. My father has lived in Thailand for 12 years, he is in the hospital, and has been for 4 months. To me it would seem he will be staying for a long time.

I have to stay here and be financially responsible for him. Is there any emergency medical visas? I've tried asking at the local immigration, but no one understood English. Is the border run to Laos or Cambodia for a 3 month visa my most reliable way?

Does anyone know if I can get an emergency visa extension for having the flu. I'm too sick to travel and my visa expires in 2 days.

I've just realized my visa expires today 11th June, when i thought it was the 17th June (was Looking at the visa expiry from last year by mistake).

My plan was to travel back from bangkok tomorrow and transfer my old visa to my new passport and then leave the country.

What are my best options from here?

Fly to phuket tomorrow and transfer the visa and leave/or apply for an emergency 7 day visa. Or fly out tonight but without the required transferring of the visa from the old passport to the new one?

Hey everyone. I had a non-b attached to a work permit which I "cancelled" and went on an emergency visa extension (covid visa). Living in Nonthaburi now and my visa expires on the 1st of October. I want to apply for another emergency visa extension at Nonthaburi Immigration Office (not CW or MTT).

Since amnesty ends on the 27th of September, how far in advance can I apply for an extension and is there anything a noobie should know about Nonthaburi Immigration?

Hope you can advise. I was going for a Smart Visa S extension but was declined. They messaged me saying that I have to cancel my current Smart Visa at the OSS before the 23rd (my current smart visa s allows me to the 24th December), then apply for an emergency extension at Chaengwattana road, immigration office, Bangkok within the same day.

Do you know what documents I need to complete or take for this emergency extension?

Is this the same emergency extension as people are using for covid situation?

Is there any other visa options I have? Such as a 60 day tourist without leaving thailand?

Hi. I'm UK citizen on visa exempt (extended) in Chiang Mai until April 14th. My April 10th flight was cancelled with Qatar Airways but I haven't even received a cancellation email (just checked flight status on their website).

I have contacted UK embassy in BKK. Has anybody found themselves in a similar situation? Can I get an emergency extension without flight cancellation email? Can I do anything in the mean time (go to immigration in CM?)?

Can I make the emergency extension 26 days before my normal visa extension ends? On Apr 8 the immigration offices comes to Koh Phangan for 1 day and I would like to apply on that day, as they will only come once per month to Phangan.
