Does anyone have a contact to assist with getting an emergency visa to correct my tourist visa, so that I can apply for a non o. I am in the giant boat of people that were on valid tourist visas and got amnesty.

Correction you knew Visa inside out upside down before pandemic as you have admitted YOU have no idea how this amnesty is going to end so kindly sir stick your wager and guesses up your arse. And just to be clear I have had a wonderful time whilst on amnesty living a wonderful fairytale existence ๐Ÿ˜

Tod Daniels I am not after anything I fly England July 28th always assuming you seem to do that a lot you seem very bitter sir

Tod Daniels can I please ask why you refer to the current situation as an imaginary fairytale amnesty. It is an amnesty that has happened and been enforced so how can it be imaginary or a fairytale? The world has faced a situation that has been unprecedented, certainly in my life time.

I am not asking to cause an arguement and I have followed this group for the last few months and i know you are very knowledgeable on the pre-pandemic regulations of Thailand but the moderators was also adamant that all tourists would have to leave before the end of May or end up in immigration centres and be blacklisted and owe out thousands of baht, so please answer your reasons. Sorry if this post offends it is not my intention

I actually get the impression that a few of them must have lost there Thai women to us stupid farang tourists ๐Ÿคฃ

It would be nice if Thailand allowed all visa types to be processed in Thailand and eliminate these visa runs. It's in the interest of public health and not wanting to bring in a virus from across an international border.

I was trying to think of all visas.

@Michael *****
But if you never left the country they would have granted you indefinite stay. Thais do not like immigration. A visa is just a time limited means of staying in the country. UK do the same except on further settlement visas...

no, I would be grateful and Thailand would be more safe if all visas were processed in there own country, current country they are in, or there local immigration office in Thailand. Time for a new normal? Get real with it. The virus is a bad thing, but good things can still be done.

there is no "emergency visa" to correct your tourist visa :(

I think what you found out is that you can't apply for an in country Non-O visa fonce you ran your real entry stamp down and went on the imaginary fairytale amnesty :O

You need real "hard stamp" days left on your stamp to get a Non-O visa issued in country. :(

Take the amnesty until no later than the 31st of July, THEN exit/re-enter the country to get a visa exempt entry and after that apply for the non-O visa

OR

wait until the neighboring countries and the thai consulates open back up and go BUY one at a nearby thai consulate..

Why not wait until amnesty is over and apply for a job o then? It will save you paying crazy amounts of money to a middle man for something you most likely don't need yet
