Is anyone able to explain how to get a medical visa (emergency)?

I need a surgery and can’t travel at the moment which will cause me to violate my visa status and over stay (visa exemption from uk which has already been extended once)

Any suggestions of what I can do?

TLDR : Answer Summary
To obtain a medical visa for emergency surgery in Thailand, first avoid overstaying your current visa, as this complicates your situation. Contact the hospital where you plan to undergo surgery; their international department can assist you. Medical visas must be obtained outside Thailand, but if immediate surgery is necessary, you can request a medical extension of stay through a medical certificate from your doctor. If your request is denied, consider a border bounce to secure a new 30-day visa exemption entry. Ensure your surgery is medically required as elective surgeries may not be accepted for extensions.

You need to be seeing a doctor at a hospital, not a clinic. Talk with your doctor and hospital. Here is a copy from Immigration website, but you would need more documents.

Do NOT 🚫 go on OVERSTAY !

That will only make your situation difficult. Contact the hospital, doctor ASAP. The international department of the hospital knows what to do... They can help you.

The Medical Visa for tourism must be obtained outside of Thailand. Not issued inside Thailand.

IF you are in need of Surgery while you are in Thailand...

Contact your doctor and hospital where the surgery is to be scheduled and they can prepare a Medical Certificate to Thai Immigration requesting a Medical Extension of Stay.

It MUST be medically required surgery. You state it's an emergency.

Elective surgery may or may not be accepted by Thai Immigration as sufficient reason for your extension of stay request.

If denied, you may be able to do a BORDER BOUNCE to get a NEW 30 day STAMP as Visa Exempt Entry. PLUS one 30 day extension of stay at Thai Immigration office.

What is your passport nation? It appears that it's the UK from your Post.
