Take this Police document to the UK Embassy and request an ETD.

This will permit you to travel back to the UK unhindered.

You are gonna have to get your skates on with booking a flight back to "blighty" before the end of 5th January 2023.

You can possibly start the online process of getting a replacement PP, once you have your RTP report to scan and send your new PP to an address in the UK to be picked up later.

Then once you have your new UK passport you can return to Thailand and start your "Visa" process all over again.

There is no such thing as a UK emergency passport.

You can get a travel document allowing you to leave the country. You cannot come back to Thailand on it or get any visa stamps etc.

If you haven't got a new passport by midnight the 5th January and extended your visa or haven't left Thailand, you'll be on overstay

The first thing to do is report your passport lost/stolen to the police, and get a copy of the report. This is a kind of silly security step trying to prevent people from just selling their passport for money. It gets it flagged in the Thai police computer system immediately. Thailand only became centrally tied in to all their different computer departments in the last few years. If it was only voided by the US embassy, a small border crossing into Cambodia, or Laos, never used to be aware of those things, as they were only tied into the police system, which immigration falls under. Now it is different with the computer systems, but the old rules still apply.
