Hi!

Do I still need to buy Re Entry at the immigration or I am exempted as I am confused.

As on the top it says re entry permit must be made before leaving thailand and then it say exempted.

Non o ed visa university student going out of thailand in between semester holidays

UPDATE 1:

Didn’t need to apply for re-entry permit as informed by the immigration/reentry desk at Suvarnabhumi airport.

Update 2:

Was allowed through immigration with no questions asked.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user initially sought clarification on whether they need to obtain a re-entry permit before leaving Thailand with a NON-O ED visa while studying. Confusion arose due to conflicting information regarding exemptions. After updates from the immigration desk, it was confirmed that a re-entry permit was not necessary for their specific visa situation.

I am confused , did you get the Ed Plus before you started studying? (I thought it was just for the year after you finished studying).

Cool, thanks

It does specifically state in the ED Plus extension that it is exempt from a re-entry permit so I think you don't need one

BUT

I would ask at the airport (just to be sure) at the desk when you stamp out OR at the re-entry counter
