Can somebody guide me in the correct direction please:
My wife and me (Germans and both over 50) will arrive from Germany with Non-Immigrant Visa (O) Retirement and will do the process of extension of stay for one year. (I have the account with 800K).
We plan that my wife will apply for extension of stay for one year as a "trailing spouse".
The immigration office will be in Hua Hin.
1. Question:
We have our marriage certificate legalized by Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and confirmed by Thai embassy Copenhagen. Will this be accepted or has it be confirmed in an office in Bangkok?
1.1
The marriage certificate is also written in English - does it need to be translated in Thai? I read that English is sufficient.
2.
Can we apply at the same time? Or do I have to get my extension of stay first and then my wife can apply?
3.
When we arrive with the Non Immigration O visa, when will be the time to apply for the extension of stay?
4.
At the moment we are in Hua Hin with TR 60 + 30 days until end of April (we have to leave for 1 month to Germany and from there we would apply the Non-Immigrant Visa (O) as explained before), does it make sense to convert the actual visa to an in country Non Immigrant visa and apply at this time for the extension of stay with multiples entry (so we can be out for one month as planed) and not when we come back end of May? The 800K will be about the 25.2. in the account.
I guess, do it this time may be to complicated and to “rushy”.
