Looking for a VISA advice for older folks (70ish) who want to come to thailand every year for about 4 months. Would appreciate to be contacted by a professional agency that can advise and do the work for a fee.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An inquiry by an expat seeking advice on visa options for elderly individuals (around 70 years old) who wish to visit Thailand for approximately 4 months each year. Responses suggest looking into the Non-Immigrant O Visa, which can be extended locally, or the METV, which allows for multiple 60-day visits with an extension, requiring only one exit for re-entry. Recommendations also included contacting agencies or handling the visa processes from their home country.
NON-O RETIREMENT VISA RESOURCES / SERVICES

Laurent Lolo ... if when your referred to a 'Retirement Visa' you meant the O-A Visa - then this particular one is only available to a person in their home country ... it is a great visa - it lasts up to 2 full years. The list of requirements is posted on the website of the Thai Embassy/Consulate in their home countries. However in some ways this O-A visa is not suited well for just a 4 month visit every year.
The Non Immigrant O Visa is sometimes referred to as a Retirement Visa but is not actually a retirement visa. The base Non Imm O Visa can be obtained in one's home country, in the Thailand region and even in Bkk (one of the few visas available in Bkk). The base Non Imm O Visa is only good for 90 days and then must be Extended at a local Immigration office. (extended for 12 months)
If the visit these people want to make each year remains at 4 months ... then the 4 months does not easily fit into any visa - without a combined exit and reentry at some point - depending on which one.

So basically the advise are to sort out the 2 months visa before flying and then fly out to get another stamp.
Every other way to do it is much more difficult. So yes, that is the answer. There is no easy way to stay 4 months straight each year.

For Four Months ... no agency needed ... just process a METV .. Multi-Entry Tourist Visa... good for 60 day visits plus a 30 day Extension - They would only have to Exit Thailand one time - even without an Extension... plan a nice side trip to a neighboring country with escorts to help them along ... easy

Yes but greater proof of finances required in the home country.

Retirement visa is only 1900 thb and no need to to extend or do something else, so I think it's better !

Their best bet is to get their thai visas sorted out from the thai consulate in their country before they wash up here.

How about saying the nationality of the old people so posters can give advice as to what visa they should get?
As a rule this group doesn't let people recommend or accept ads from visa agencies..
BUT, I'm sure you will get some good advice on what they can do to get visas on their own or with a company in their country.
