Can I use an address far from my muay thai gym for my soft power DTV visa application?
Question everyone. Can I use my address which is far from the muay thai gym for soft power DTV, where I enroll like 6 hours away? Cause I have paid 3 months advance and I wanna maximize it before I move to the actual place. Do you think it will affect my application? Thank you for your help🙏 just wanna make sure before I lodge my application.
Answer summary
The user is inquiring whether they can use an address that is significantly far from their muay thai gym for their soft power DTV visa application, despite having a membership at the gym for three months. Comments suggest that using any address is generally acceptable, as the embassy focuses more on the legitimacy of the gym and the applicant's financial statements rather than the exact address.

Can do

You can use any address you like. It's not like the embassy staff look for every address on the map. For soft power, the main things they will check are the legitimacy of your gym and your financial statements.

thank you, for the info. Noted.Wannikea *********
Not sure what you mean. You are currently near the gym and you want to use it for 3 months before you move 6 hours away? Also this 3-month membership you have is not enough to secure the DTV.

nope, I went to chiang mai and liked it so I am planning to enroll there but unfortunately I have paid my rent in advance in the province 6 hours away to Chiang Mai, the lanlord won’t refund my payment so I asked. 3 months is a lot paid.

Anonymous participant it is fine to join a gym that differs to your current address. It is key the gym provides the docs needed for approval.
