Hi Folks, please offer your advice on our situation. We need to buy more time to find work here in Phuket. Been on 2 exempt stamps plus extensions already.
We are on South Africa passports and I also hold a Dutch passport.
Our plan next was either to get a year Edu visa until work came along...(but school is asking for 15000 baht each for paperwork(payable throughout the year)3000 for visa, 5000 at immigration every 3months...)
Or we go to Cambodia or somewhere else to apply for a 2month tourist visa pls extension which will give us 3 months to try find work.
If we go that route, which embassy do you recommend that asks for the least paperwork(as we don’t want to have to show flight tickets/accommodation/etc).
Thank you in advance for your advice and time.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on how to extend their stay in Thailand while looking for work. They have already used two exempt stamps and extensions and are considering either obtaining a year-long education visa, which incurs significant costs, or applying for a two-month tourist visa through a nearby country like Cambodia, seeking recommendations for the easiest embassy process.
