ORIGINAL POSTERToday went to DLT Chatuchak in Bangkok, wasn't sure if I will get 2 or 5 years driving licence today. Staff needed to discuss a little bit and they apologise but they can give me only 2 years driving licence. They say a few days ago they would gave me 5 years. But they said that "some regulations changed". If other DLTs still issue 5 years DL for DTV holders maybe it is worth to have trip there.

ORIGINAL POSTERFolks on a DTV - are you able to open a Bank account? Also has anyone got a Thai tax ID or Pink card. Some of the banks are refusing to open an account on the DTV.
