I have DHL documents being sent. Can I expect a delay and demand for tax?

Who has the lowest cost "express" delivery document service from Thailand to the US... can be a week or two at the most..

So this is a LONG SHOT but is there anyone who is going to Vientiene from Chiang Mai tonight or tomorrow?? One of my volunteers has gone to apply for her non-o visa and they have rejected her application as she didn't have original documents. They've given her 2 days to get these documents which we have but is only possible to get them there if someone can deliver them. If anyone is headed that way please let me know, any help is much appreciated :-) :-)

For anyone headed there soon, make sure you take original documents as it seems there are a lot of people being turned away for the same reasons today!

Any suggestions for a fast, reliable, and reasonably priced translation service near the US embassy? Looking for translation plus delivery to the Thai MFA. I know there are many around the embassy...and if they're all the same, then great...but is there any consensus around the best? Thx in advance! And please provide their location if you can!
