Finally!! My DTV is approved.

Thank you for this group.

Quick background: A Philippine passport holder applied in Manila.

Sharing my timeline and experience as I saw quite few PH passport holders submitting DTV.

December 11: submitted form

December 16: Requested additional document: emails with clients and sample work

December 16: Submitted additional document

December 23: requested additional docs, (bank statement where pay is received) submitted within the day; changed status to pending approval

December 26: received visa approval.

A quick question. My gf, Philippine, joins me in Thailand. The Cebu consulate is always doing difficult about giving a girl in visa (opposed to Manila) . So she just gets the extension, which is easy.

Bit it is a problem for airline and sometimes Phil or Thai immigration. Now my question is, does she really needs to book (or rent) a ticket to leave the country before 30 days? Or is a booking in hotel, lets say in Vientiane enough?
