Has anyone experienced issues with payment when applying in HCM? It keeps displaying the message *Payment failed or cancelled.*

I’ve tried all the suggested solutions, such as using different cards, submitting a new application, and changing the address to match my billing card, but nothing has worked.

I wonder if this is a systematic error.

Has anyone noticed the E Visa site seems to be unworkable the last few days . I'm trying the Embassy in Canberra Australia.

Unfair Treatment by the Thai Embassy in Egypt

I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the Thai Embassy in Egypt due to the unfair and unexplained treatment I received regarding my visa application.

I applied and paid for a DTV online, fulfilling all the requirements and providing the necessary documents. The embassy requested an interview, and when I arrived, I was denied direct access to any responsible officer. Instead, a security guard took my passport, went inside, and returned after 10 minutes saying that the visa officer refused to issue the DTV without offering any valid reason.

Instead, they decided to issue me a 6-month multiple-entry tourist visa, which is not the type of visa I applied and paid for. No explanation was given, no document was flagged, and I wasn’t allowed to discuss or understand the reason behind their decision.

This behavior is unprofessional, unfair, and completely disregards transparency and respect for applicants. It’s unacceptable to change the visa type without justification, especially after I followed all the procedures and paid the required fees.

I urge the relevant authorities and the Thai Embassy to take accountability for their actions and address this issue. This kind of treatment undermines trust and respect for such institutions.

Advice needed

I've been employed remotely for a US company for the last three years. I have my employment contract, money in the bank, a letter from my employer stating remote work is acceptable and tax returns for the last two years showing income from remote work. However, I've been taking an extended holiday for the last 6 months so I don't have proof of income during that time. I've started working again but won't be paid for a month or so.

Anyone know if this is likely to be an issue? Thanks in advance.

I started some weeks ago to fill out my DTV Visa for Thailand. Today i finally submitted all the neccessary Documents (Passport, Work Contract, Bank Statement with over 500k THB (in EUR), Proof of Residence (registration certificate from city council). Then i paid for it and 5 hours later i just got this email. Around 5 hours after i paid it. Well usually the Thai Embassy takes several weeks for my Visa (did multiple Tourist VISA in the past) but now i just got this after just some hours. (and today is Halloween). Outside of the opening(working times) and super quick. Do you guys have any idea what to do or what could be the reason?

PS: the annoying part is that i don’t even know a reason (if I maybe did a mistake) and that the 350€ fee is just gone.

Got an email regarding 'Request for Further document' -Photograph taken within the last six months.: - Please use your mobile phone to take a selfie photo in plain white background and close up your head and top of your shoulders.(Your face must be clear and in focus and take up 70–80% of the photo.).

orginally I had uploaded passport photo I had taken 3 months ago. Not sure why this was not acceptable. Anyhow, I'm having issues submitting the the uploaded photo. It says I've submitted but when I refresh, the application seems to be stuck on processing with message "There is an application that requires your attention. Please click the icon with a red dot."

Anyone else experience this, at one point I did see a "The team is fixing and updating the system." message, when I refreshed.

Hello I’ve DTV visa already on my hand today but I’m worried that the name format on my visa page is not the same as on my passport as my last name came first on Visa page but last name on passport come last like XYZ become ZXY the thing is that we dont have family name but they put last name first as family name. My husband had his first application cancelled because his Chinese visa was issued in Guangdong and he applied in Shanghai because although he had the visa in I just wanted to know if anyone has gotten a visa anywhere in China to know if the process is going smoothly and we were just unlucky enough not to go to the correct consulate or if it is really difficult there. When I get to the page where I have to enter my date of entry and exit from Thai territory, I enter my entry date, without even having entered an exit date, the page closes, why ?
