Hey! Applying for a tourist visa in the UK. I applied but had only given a one way plane ticket so they emailed me. I then provided a round trip ticket but they didn’t see my name on it (even though it was there) I fly on the 3rd of December so I’m getting a little worried about getting the visa in time! Has anyone else experienced this since the new evisa came in?

 I don’t think you can until 15 days after the first visa submission. Email them the return flight as they directed. It goes to your local embassy - so they work on your time zone

 thank you, I’ve emailed them a few times, but it’s the weekend now so I don’t think it will be seen until Monday. It’s just annoying because I sent the document and they haven’t looked properly and have missed my name on it so have them asked for the same evidence again. But my flight and hotel is booked for a week today so I’m in a complete panic!

 I got my visa but was just rejected for the Thai pass. I sent the correct documents - but they refuse to see that the ASQ hotel includes testing?!?!

 How long did it take them to reply to your Thaipass application? My visa isn't back yet but it's a week until I fly so I need to apply for the Thaipass, but I don't have my visa :'(

 That happened to me too 🙁 But with my flight, my name was on the second page of the PDF but they didn't look 🙁 Are you able to apply for the Thaipass again?

I think they’ve changed the approved hotels. Mine is SHA+ but not SHA Extra+ so I think I need to book a new hotel 😭😭😭

Can I ask what tourist visa you're applying for? I'm applying for STV and I don't have an onward ticket yet and I'd rather not have to book one just yet if not absolutely necessary...

 I recommend buying a really cheap flight to a neighbouring country like Singapore. You can get a one way ticket for like $100.

 unfortunately I tried to apply for the 60 day TR visa. With just a snap shop of a flight that I would get. But they wanted a confirmed flight. I agree with you how can you book a flight for longer then 30 days if not got the visa.

It all the wrong way around.

 Especially if you have loose plans and you don't want to commit to flights you might have to cancel. I'm planning to get the two extensions but I hope in the future borders between Thailand and Cambodia or Laos reopen so I can book a cheap bus journey and not waste too much money. At the moment I'm looking at the cheapest flights out of Thailand I can find on Google Flights

 I use that too but I generally find better prices on Google Flights. Also Skyscanner annoys me with how long it takes to give you prices as opposed to GF

Did you get an email back off embassy asking for further ducumts. If so you need to send them quoting your passport number as the subject. Then attach the further documents. Write a little covering note stating that these are further doc you require. You can also log on to the website and get your application request number for your visa and put that information in the email. That worked for me, hope this helps.

 have you only just sent it, because it does say to allow 3-5 working day.

Did you know you can logg on to your visa request and it will tell you if they are reviewing the further documents.

 no, I applied over a week ago. They asked for confirmation and I sent that, but they haven’t checked the document I sent properly and said it needs my name on, which it does have. So, then I’ve sent them a bunch more evidence of my flights. But the 3-5 working days is worrying me because that’s all I have left

I got my visa back within 48 hours of providing onward travel, so fingers crossed you should be okay

Yeah, I think they are working on Thai time. Hopefully they see it and get it done quickly. They know when my flight is, so I’m hoping they take that into account

 hopefully! I already sent them it, they just haven’t checked the document properly and have missed my name. So I’ve sent them 4 screen shots of each individual flight and forwarded them my e-ticket confirmation. Hopefully that’s enough evidence for them
