Why was my DTV application canceled by the Hanoi Embassy?
Hi everyone, does anyone managed to get a reason from Hanoi Embassy (or any Embassy) if DTV application is cancelled ? I applied with soft power
Sunday 25: submit and paid
Tuesday 27: additional documents requested and I provided
Later Tuesday 27: pending approval
Just now: application cancelled
I have no idea what I do wrong, I follow all the advices found in this group. I prepared only accurate document and double check all information I input on website.
I’m lost because I was really counting on this visa and I don’t know what to changes for next application, as I don’t know what was wrong on this one…

Canceled application means there was an error in the application submitted. Was your name correctly entered? The location where your passport was issued? Etc.

after investigation, I found out that it may be related to the place of issue. I put “Bangkok”, as my passport was issued in Bangkok, in my embassy….
But from other posts in this group, it look like many people that have passport issued in an embassy, and not in their home country, had their application cancelled…
Anyway, I will try to go check at embassy first (if I can) if that’s the real reason before reapply

Anonymous participant how long has the bt500,000 equivalent been in your bank account? That is also a main reason they are cancelled so fast. They like it in your account for at least three months.
