TLDR : Answer Summary
A user expresses frustration over the complexities of applying for a 60-day visa from the UK, particularly regarding document formatting and the online application process. Community members respond with advice on potential outcomes if the application is rejected, noting that minor errors may lead to a request for additional information rather than outright rejection, while critical mistakes could result in loss of the application fee. They also discuss the existing challenges with the e-visa system, express hope for future visa exemptions, and share personal experiences with the application process.

The E-Visa is frustrating based on every page of passport required etc etc,and when completed/submitted you can not track other than in process.No rersponse to emails-phonecalls get you in process do NOT call again,the 10-15 day process time turns into weeks and your departure day is coming sooner each passing day.I AM AGAIN AWAITING CONFIRMATION EMAIL OF VISA and down to my last few days,last year after noumeras call/emails called 72 hrs prior to departure and thank godness the lady checked and informed me it had bee approved for 3 weeks and was just sitting awaiting sending email VISA which she did.The Embassies and system requires much improvement OR give 90 - 180 days visa exempt to the appropriate countries and charge a fee upon enry.SIMPLE.

Shrinking the jpeg photo size because it is too big to upload I remember that, I'm sure when I did mine one of the questions wanted two documents and you can only upload one, and i had to do a collage, also being very unsure of some of the questions. I found it a bit stressful and frustrating tbh, because I really wanted the visa ๐Ÿ˜…

Yes

I remember it well, it was quite tricky and I am reasonably IT literate. Very clunky system and illogical questions.

Would be easier if

day exempt was introduced.

Good luck.

@Stuart **********
they wouldn't get any of the fees then I guess, probably worth a good few bucks with the amount of visitors

visitors might stay longer and spend more in Thailand ๐Ÿค”

@Ian *********

Unless you make a critical error like the wrong passport number or misspelling your own name, they will email you to ask for additional information if they are not satisfied with anything you've provided. So they'll give you a chance to fix it before rejecting the application. If you made a critical error or they reject it for any reason, your application fee is gone.
