What are the current requirements for applying for a DTV from the UK, particularly regarding bank balance duration?Unanswered

Is it true that when applying for DTV as a Brit you only need to have had the 500k+ THB in your account for 1 month? And also to confirm I MUST 100% apply from my home country now, not a border run etc? Thanks
