Hello everybody, I have a Visa-question and wanted to be sure that I don’t need a Visa.

I am a Belgian citizen. In the months of July and August, I am travelling to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodja. I will be:

- arriving on 9 July 2024 on the airport in Bangkok Suvarnabhumi

- leaving Thailand for Laos on 15 July 2024 (border post Chiangkhong) by private bus

- re-entering Thailand (from Cambodja) on 7 August 2024 (border post Aranyaprathet)

- leaving Thailand on 9 August 2024 (airport Bankgkok) and return to Belgium

So I will be staying 7 days in Thailand and then again 3 days. Do I need a visa for these periods because I don’t have a flight to Laos or an official bus ticket? Do I need to fill in a digital form or take some photos/documents with me to use at the border posts? Or will I get just a stamp in my passport and I can travel?

I hope somebody can answer my questions? Thank you in advance!

We want to extend our visa for another month do we just go to the immigration office as we have done previously? We arrive in Chiang Mai on the 30 January. In previous years we were given 60 day visas on arrival, we only got 28 days this time and need to extend until 22 February. What do we need please

Hello everyone, maybe someone knows the answer 🙏

I proposed for a e-visa in advance but the confirmation came when I was already 4 days in Thailand.

So I entered with a visa-on-arrival which one I just extended 1,5 weeks ago.

So, now I have an e-Visa from Germany which says I have to use it till mid January what would be perfect, cause my actual visa is running out mid of December. And I‘m planning to do a border run.

Now my question: is this 2 month e-visa also valid when I enter from another country then Germany?

Thanks for your time and advise 🙏💜

If a French tourist enters Thailand with a visa-on-arrival and extends that for thirty days, will she be able to do exactly the same thing after flying to Bali for two or three days?

In other words, can she spend four months in Thailand - minus a few days exactly in the middle of her trip - without worrying that she will not be readmitted to the country or that she will not be permitted to extend her visa after her short absence from Thailand?

I would be grateful for some reassurance from people who understand the system.

Hi there,

I am in Thailand, on a visa-on-arrival ( Romanian passport ), due to expire on the 20th of December. Would like to stay for another 2 weeks.

What's best? Is there any way to extend it ? And if not, what's the quickest border run I could do? I am now in Phuket but will go to Bangkok at some point.

As a UK resident, I could apply for a E-visa ( stickerless ), online. Could I do that from within Thailand ?

Thanks.

Which location do you recommend to stay a few days to extend your visa-on-arrival at immigration? Patong or Phuket Town? 🤔🙂

Hi guys, one of my friends is coming to Thailand with some questions and info I hadn't heard about.

He is coming from Romania by plane in about a week. He says he will get a visa-on-arrival for 15 days? (I thought it was 45 or 30 days but they keep changing it, it seems.) And he also said the visa-on-arrival is non-extendable. Is that right?

He plans on staying in Thailand for around 40 days, and he is wondering what would happen if he overstayed his visa-on-arrival. Besides the fine when leaving the country, would he still be able to fly around from city to city, or would he get stopped? He is thinking of eating the fine, no sweat, and traveling as per usual.

What do you think? Thanks for the help!
