Hi all,

I've seen people discussing TM30s but I'm not really sure what the situation is with them.

Is this something that everyone has to do? I'd stupidly assumed they were just for hotels/landlords to fill in on behalf of guests.

We'll be staying in a hotel for a couple of days after ALQ before finding a long term rental, so will we need to fill in one for each location?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 is a notification form that landlords or property owners must fill out to notify immigration authorities when a foreigner is staying at their property. While it is often thought to be the responsibility of hotels and landlords, it applies to individuals as well, especially if a foreigner owns their own property. Foreigners staying temporarily in hotels will have the hotel fill this out, but those renting long-term or staying in their own property need to ensure the TM30 is filed within 24 hours of their arrival.

I have one more question. If you are a foreigner, and you own the property, do you have to file your own TM30 saying you are living at your own house( within 24hrs of arrival ) ? Thanks
