Due to extend an 'O' to a non imm. 'O' A and run into the potential problem of the Tm 30. I can't get a straight answer from research on the net so I have these thoughts.
Firstly when you enter the country you complete a TM6 and advise your address to immigration. On the reverse of the TM6 item 3 reads, 'If the alien stays in the Kingdom longer than 90 days , he/she must notify in writing at the nearest Immigration Office...' etc.etc.
Any one any idea why some posts (elsewhere) insist you have to visit your local immigration ( or a police station) to advise where you are staying within 24 hrs. of arrival.
NB, I stay with my Thai wife in her (owned) property.
Thank you in anticipation of any advice.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 reporting requirement mandates that foreigners notify local immigration authorities of their residence within 24 hours of arrival in Thailand. This is separate from the 90-day reporting mentioned on the TM6 form, which is applicable for stays longer than 90 days. In the case of foreign spouses staying with their Thai partner, it is the responsibility of the Thai partner to report this status to immigration.

You are required to have filed a TM 30 with local Thai Immigration...within 24 hours of arrival into Thailand. However some immigration offices allow up to 3 days to report....like Jomtien/Pattaya does.
Only way to know is to as your immigration office for their TM30 filing requirements .
A TM 30 is NOT the same as a 90 day report (which is what is mentioned on the back of the TM6). A TM 30 must be filed no later then 24 business hours after you stay at a location.
Your wife, who you live with, must report you to immigration that you are staying there.
