ORIGINAL POSTER
UK Passport on a TR Multilple entry visa (Valid until 16th April 2023).

Entered Thailand on 27th October, went to immigration today for 30 day extension of my 60 days (To 24th January), usual stamp i always get, nothing different.

The Immigration officer said when i leave in January i would need to get a new visa and that my visa would be void.

In the past i have had TR multiple entry visa and i leave after 90 days, go holiday somewhere for abit and then come back and get 60 days again (prior to the vaild visa date), the officer said i would only get 45 days when i come back.

I did ask if the rules had changed and he said no, its always been this.

Can you confirm with a TR multilple visa when i return i should get 60 days and can extend 30 days.

I understand with a normal single entry TR this is only valid for 90 days, but a multi i thought was valid until the end date (6 months from start date).

Hope someone can confirm, little bit confused leaving the office today.
