TLDR : Answer Summary
A border run, or border bounce, is the process of leaving Thailand and returning to activate a new visa-exempt stamp or multiple entry visa. It's essential to consider your current visa type before planning a border run.

So you have a 60-day tourist visa? Have you had the 30-day extension yet?

A border bounce is when you leave Thailand and return immediately to activate a new visa exempt stamp if you're eligible for visa exempt, or to activate a new entry if you have a multiple entry visa.

then unless you have a multiple entry tourist visa, you cannot do a border run. You would need to go to a Thai embassy in a different country and apply for a new visa.
