Hey guys, was on a 60 day tourist visa, then got a 30 day extension which takes me upto April 1st. Need to do a visa run to get another 30 days because I’m going to UK May 2nd. I’ll make my visa run 2 days in which ever country.

With all that’s currently going on where would be the best and safest place to do a visa run without any problems?

Thanks in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on the safest and most reliable destination to perform a visa run due to their impending travel schedule. Comments suggest avoiding Poipet due to recent complications and recommend the Myanmar border in Ranong as a preferable option for a new visa stamp.

okay this is turning into a cluster fuck of a post.

, bounce out and back at the Myanmar Border in Ranong, get a new 30 day visa exempt entry stamp and extend that by 30 days at the immigration office where you stay for 1900 baht.

NOT POIPET UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. DO NOT TAKE THIS WARNING LIGHTLY. my wife and I are currently stuck in Cambodia for seemingly no reason whatsoever based on "it looks like you tried to do a border-run, that's not allowed anymore." then we were both issued a 'denied by land' stamp in our passports. IT WAS OUR FIRST BORDER RUN! we had broken no rules in any way and we are both from Australia which is not considered high risk.

you picked the arm-pit of S/E Asia and hands down the WORST border to bounce out and back at.

Who recommended you use that shit-hole border?

There are HUNDREDS of posts about how bad it is :O

Unless you were going with a service that greases the wheels that is a border to avoid at all costs.

Just to make sure, you will not do a visa run, you'll do a border bounce to activate another 30 days
