Today we make a boarderrun at BanLaem Cambodia. They want make the Visaservice for us in 20 Minutes and say we can not make it alone. They mean itβs maybe not possible in 1 day. We try it alone and the officer means we must stay 2-3 hours in Cambodia bevor come back.
We go back in 30 Minutes and the same officer check us out from Cambodia. Now we have 45 days more in Thailand.

I crossed over into Cambodia at that land boarder back in 2008 . They were so surprised I wasn't doing a border run and asked me several times if I was sure I wanted to do this and who I was meeting and what I was doing . I took a taxi from there to battambong , crazy ride on the worst dirt roads I've ever seen .
I've been through that border too. For the vast majority of my Cambodia trips, I actually enter the country and spend several days there.
On that occasion (2014) I was doing a border run, but I spent several hours in Cambodia. I wanted to see Pailin so a Thai speaking local who used to work in Thailand as a laborer took me around on his motorcycle. First we visited the nearby Ban Pakkard border crossing (Psar Prum on the Khmer side), then we went to Pailin for lunch, finally I visited his home, right next to the Thai border (literally 50m away) located in a village that's part of the border town of Daung, which is next to Ban Laem.
I should know i did it January 19th you get 30 days from the Cambodia border then a few minutes later you get 15 days at the Thailand border then you can get a extra 30 days at Jomtien Immigration
