Question: We are trying to plan for my Thai girlfriend to visit the UK for for the first time, for a short period, probably in the region of 5 days, plus a 7 day cruise to the Norwegian Fjords sandwiched in the middle. She has done group/family travel to the Schengen Zone a couple of times without any visa issues. In an attempt to get the UK Standard Visitor Visa application to go through smoothly, what kind of amount of funds does she need to prove to have in her bank account to satisfy UK immigration requirement for the visa application, bearing in mind she will only be in the UK for about 5 days on this first visit?

Return flight ticket, accommodation booked, having a educated and decent job, own house, family commitments, never overstayed anywhere, seems to tick most other boxes to satisfy the application. Just needing an idea of the amount of funds in her account that she will need to show, to allow the application to go smoothly

Has anyone else got the fear applying for this Thailand pass?

I’m travelling from the uk on 3rd January, to Phuket but I ve a form of dyslexia which makes it difficult for me to interpret questions 🙈.

Are there anyone who assists in the application? They’re seems to be so much and my travel agent appears to be at a loss too.

I’d really appreciate helpful tips. Thank you 🥰

" I'm here on an O-A " retirement " visa and I need to step out of Thailand and return so as to secure my 2nd year."

Further to my earlier post. I am flying to Australia December 14th and returning to Thailand January 18th. Unfortunately, when I booked my airline ticket, I was not looking at the correct dates. My O-A visa states valid until 6 January 2020 however the " admitted until " stamp reads 20th January 2020. You can see where I went wrong.

My question is this. If I fly down to KL on December 13th then fly back into Thailand December 13th, I am assuming I will be stamped back in until 12 December 2020, however....

December 14 I depart Thailand for Australia, returning January 18th. I am thinking I will need to get a re-entry permit at Phuket Airport before I depart for Australia on December 14th?

As always, your advice is much appreciated.
