I plan to arrive in Ho Chi Minh City next Monday morning and apply for DTC workation during the day. I’m planning to book my flight to Thailand for Saturday, 23 May. Is that too early, or is it enough time for the visa process?

Judging from other posts on this group applying in HCMC it seems that the process could even take up to 3 weeks in there or more

PassionateParrot4470 In my opinion, they seem to be intentionally delaying the process by requesting items that were not on the submission list; I do not recommend applying in Ho Chi Minh City.

PassionateParrot4470 They will request a resubmission with scans of all passport pages, six months of bank statements, and highlights on salary or income entries.

I would allow at least 2 weeks for approval in Vietnam. Thats what it took one of my friends 2 months ago

Your application process would start next Tues 12th, leaving 23rd gives 8 business days. Minimum of 10 business days is for approval, sometimes can be approved earlier but it is best to expect to stay longer than 23rd. Have a flexible ticket.

thank for your answer, I saw that most of people don't really book tickets, just give "expected arrival flight" will do the same a week after and if approved before will go before. Thank you
