ORIGINAL POSTERI have a question regarding the financial proof requirement of 500,000 THB. I’m applying through the Thai Embassy in Rome, and on their website it states: “12,500 EUR (500,000 THB)”.
I’m a bit confused, since the two amounts are not exactly equivalent, especially with the current exchange rate, where 500,000 THB is more than 13,000 EUR.
Should I follow the amount in Thai Baht or is the 12,500 euros equivalent sufficient?
The reason I ask is because in some months my account balance was slightly above 12,500 EUR, but not always over the full 500,000 THB equivalent — just around the threshold.
