When applying for the Muay Thai Via E-visa?

Do I need to send my passport, or they send me a letter

Once the visa is approved, do I have to travel

immediately, or can I wait?

If I apply now without a set travel date, will they ask for an airline ticket and accommodation details?”

Much appreciate your knowledge!

Hello everyone,

I’m preparing my visa application for Thailand and I have a question about the required documents.

I understand that:

* Point 4 requires the flight ticket/travel booking confirmation.

* Point 5 asks for proof of accommodation in Thailand, such as hotel bookings or an invitation letter from family/friends.

However, I’m unclear about Point 3, which states: “Document indicating current location.” What kind of document is needed for this? Would it be proof of residence, a utility bill, or something else?

Any advice or examples would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi everyone! I submitted one week ago a tourist visa request for 90 days (single entry). I’m Italian so I applied online through the royal Thai embassy of Rome.

Yesterday I’ve been asked to reupload proof of accommodation and round trip flight from Italy. I’ve done so and today I received this very vague email, saying my application was cancelled without any explanation.

Anyone had a similar case?

I don’t mind reapplying again but if I don’t know why the application was cancelled in the first place I risk getting rejected once again.

Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

I’m applying my DTV application from Rabat, Morocco. After submitting all the documents for Muay Thai type, I got an email asking for 1)employement card/certificate, 2) proof of the accommodation in Thailand. I’ll also need to attend an interview at the Embassy.

I’m a full time forex trader, can anyone advise what employment document I should provide?

Has anybody been to Immigration in order to extend their 60 days “on arrival visa” for an extra 30 days at 1900 Bahts.

If so, could you tell me if I am gonna need to justify where I stay? Does my accommodation owner need to fill up some online form to prove I live there?

Thank you. 🙏

Hi DTV journey peeps.

The requirement to provide proof of accomodation or a lease for 6 months accomodation as proof of residence in Thailand.

Can anyone provide what the requirement is as my understanding is that you require the visa before you can sign a lease.

Will a receipt for accomodation from a Hostel be acceptable?

Many thanks

Hi everyone. I have a question about the new visa exemption scheme (60 days) for US citizens. What do I need to show at customs upon arrival in Bangkok? Thank you!
