To get a visa at HCMC, they ask for proof of accommodation.

Is accomodation for the first 3 days accepted? Or do they want to see it for a longer period?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a visa in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC), proof of accommodation is typically required. One user confirmed that they provided the address of their hotel in HCMC for the local guarantor section when applying for their visa, suggesting that accommodation for the first 3 days is likely acceptable.

Can confirm. Under local guarantor, I wrote the address of my hotel in HCMC.

They told me I could just leave that one blank. But then, I used a condo contract for accommodation. Who knows :)
