Had a strange encounter at BKK Airport last night. I assume the IO was having a bad day or something.

The line was taking very long and some people were also longer than usual.

Arrived presented passport, she asks for visa and I provided print out.

Looks at the screen ask what I’m doing here I said holiday workcation, she asked what type visa I apply I said dtv for digital nomad.

Starts taking photos of her screen and seemed very hesitant to stamp. This took about 15 minutes.

After she stamped I asked what was the problem, and she rudely replied “Up to me not you!”

She handed back my passport and visa and I went through.

Never experienced anything like it before.

Was just returning to thailand after spending 4 weeks back home in Australia.

So this is what I tried to do to save my last few pages from immigration monkeys, didn't work, they just removed the note and stamp in the middle of the page.

Last month they managed to waste another half page by stamping wrong not 1 but 2 times.
