Hi there, I wonder if anyone here is familiar with moving from Canada? What is the process of moving with 2 little dogs? Do I need to move to Thailand and find long term accommodation first or can I fly with my dogs right after getting my visa from Canada? Then find my accommodation after we arrive? thanks in advance for any advice. 👍

Hi, I am new here. So please pardon me if my questions are not so smart.

Can you please give me your top 4 of things I have to arrange or know before moving to Thailand. I won’t need work. I just want to live there. Together with my dog.

Hello

This upcoming August, I’m planning ahead to move to Pattaya but Bangkok seems it may be easier. I have 2 Beautiful Doberman babies/grown. That’s why I say Bangkok maybe easier because of transport.

I’m getting us to the airport by U-Haul. Myself, luggage and 2 XL dog crates.

I’m seeking advice and assistance on how to get us from the Bangkok airport. Plus finding a Reputable Rental Agency for a fenced house moreover a Retirement Visa. I was planning to do the visa myself 🤷🏿‍♂️. Any help and the first round is on me.

I thank everyone for your responses. I guess i am just looking for the easiest way to spend at least a couple of years in Thailand for my wife, myself and our little dog, without having to do border runs. We are both Australian and can meet the financial requirements. TIA

Hello,

I've got a DTV visa and have been happily living in Thailand for the past year.

I wanted to know if I can bring my mom's cat (long story lol) under my visa from France? Has anybody done it and what was the process like?

Thank you🙂

Has anyone relocated to Bangkok with a pet from the U.S? Did you experience any difficulty at the airports even with a documentation, vaccines etc?

*I don't need rude or crass comments*

😻 I HAVE 2 get my cat’s vaccinations 2day we r already pushing the time limit b4 flight

Only want info from ppl who have taken their pet to Thailand. Iv been on embassy, customs, livestock, etc websites Thai and Spain consulates, PetTraveller also. All websites say different things. Which vax are compulsory which are recommended.

Also I need the official documents / certificates the vet needs to fill out before/during her vax… but the links I’ve been given to docs/site pages have errors.

I’ve emailed all these places and called many times Spain Thai embassy and all those listed above in Thailand.

Apparently it’s the livestock import who has 100% answers but from my experience with gov sites they sometimes don’t update the current requirements.

Also their email to send documents to is bouncing back saying non existent, and the document link on their site doesn’t open.

The vet needs the official docs otherwise he can’t vax her

PLEASE IF U KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE HELL

🙏
