Hey everyone. Couple planning to move to Phuket with our dog (1year ED visa) and would love to get some advices.

Where can I find dog food prices? What is the policy of dog import and how much does it cost to own a dog in Phuket?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A couple moving to Phuket with their dog is seeking advice on dog food prices and the costs associated with dog ownership. It is suggested that they can find dog food at pet shops or grocery stores like Tops, with prices around 1,000 THB for 20 kilos of branded food. Additionally, they are advised to find pet-friendly accommodations and consider the regulations for bringing their dog back to their home country after a year, as this may involve a lengthy process.

And factor in the process of leaving after 1 year and what the rules are for the country you are "returning to". For many countries it's a 4 month process so you'd have to start this well before you leave thailand.

Usually at a pet shop OR grocery store like Tops. Expect to pay about 1K THB for 20 Kilos of fancy brand dog food

You will need to find a place that accept dogs. There are a lot of stray dogs on the street, and some of them can be quite fierce.
