TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're planning to bring your poodle husky to Thailand, there are several important steps and requirements you'll need to be aware of. You can consider utilizing relocation services like Relo4Paws for assistance, although it may come at a significant cost. For pet import requirements, you'll need export documents from your home country and follow Thailand's import guidelines, which include necessary vaccinations such as rabies and Leptospirosis. The total weight for pets traveling in-cabin is usually capped at 8 kg including their carrier. Airlines such as Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines allow pets to travel in-cabin, while other airlines might require pets to travel as cargo. Furthermore, staying informed about the current customs and regulations in both Thailand and your departing country is crucial for a smooth transition.
Brought ex-wife's cat from Moldova to the US. It was $150 10 years ago, carrier had to fit under the seat. Possible quarantine upon arrival. Check requirements with whatever airline you want to fly and the country. Cute dog!

We are flying Etihad and paid for a seat on the plane for our dog 🐶

I don’t think my husband will have a problem with that,we have 3 seats and we are all seating together! So your comment don’t mean nothing to me and quite frankly don’t care what you think!
Plan early with your vet and Thai animal import authority and use Lufthansa.

You find everything you need from Thai customs page. Also take rabies titer test in your home country before you come to Thailand IF something happens and you need to fly Europe, USA etc because you need to wait 3 months for titer test. In Thailand give every month medicine's against all kind of paracites, deadly brain worms etc.
not sure, i got her at the vet/petshop after my gf lost her son in the Dominican Republic. . I'm just going by what they said and showed me photos of the momma which was a poodle. But i love this little thing . i joke they created her in a lab. My angel puppy 🥰

A dog that small can be carried as luggage in a soft case that fits under the seat. Check with the airline for requirements and Thai customs. The paperwork was not hard just follow all the instructions. The coat should not be more than a few hundred dollars.
In 2013, I brought a britney dog to Thailand in a cage as checked luggage. The airline charged me $200, and the vet BS was less than $100. The airline checked everything but Thai customs didn’t check anything just asked me the value of the dog for taxation.
, you might check out Patrick Bundock’s Facebook page and contact him. He helped us get the paperwork on the Thai side to have when we arrived. Good luck!

I have flown pets in cabin with these airlines:
Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, Austrian Airlines
There are more Airlines that allow Pet in Cabin. Air France, KLM, Korean air.
Total weight is 8kg including carry-on
Otherwise, you will have to fly cargo.
You will need export documents from the departing country. And import (you can do upon arrival)
Thailand requires Rabies, Leptospirosus, and external/internal deworming (Nextgard)
Each departing (exporting) country has it's own requirements.
no good for by 35kilo bulldog then. I was wondering why I have never seen dogs in the seats before. I would certainly pay for a seat rather than put in the hold.
. They have a wealth of experience including managing to reunite pets and owners during the pandemic

Be aware of the hurdles you may have to jump returning to your home country SHOULD that be the case .The cost to bring the dog to Thailand may in itself be more than your plane ticket for yourself. Obviously the value that you place on your dog may well be infinite.
should be able to help point you in the right direction. They also do relocation services. It’s a sizable fee, usually, so not in everyone’s budget. However, it can be well worth not having the headache of doing it alone or having your pet rejected upon entry.
What a cutie you have, btw!
