TLDR : Answer Summary
To bring your Pomeranian to Thailand, you should consult your veterinarian for detailed requirements and documentation. A pet travel service like Relo4paws can assist with the process. It's essential to email the Thai veterinary authorities for a list of requirements and to prepare the import license. Contact specific authorities based on your entry point, such as Suvarnabhumi Airport or Phuket, and check with your airline for any additional requirements. Several users have recommended 'Passports for Pets' for an efficient door-to-door service.

Email the Thai veterinary authorities, they will give you a list of requirements and prepare the import license. Use the email address corresponding with your port of entry into the Kingdom.

Your vet should know what is needed. They prepare the paperwork I believe. Or you could use a pet travel service like relo4paws

that’s not really true. Vets have no idea what the vast majority of countries require as generally no one provides them that information but the travelers who come with paperwork. 👍

if the vet doesn't know ( my vet does) then I recommended the pet relocation company like relo4paws. Best to be helpful rather than negative.

I’m sorry, I was not being negative. I was making a clarification of your erroneous statement. ‘A vet should have what is needed. They prepare the paperwork’ is wrong! So for other people’s benefit, I was correcting your statement. The pet owner needs to inform the vet by bringing or referencing paperwork and criteria of the destination country, go prepared. Services will provide that documentation/criteria. Never assume the vet will have a clue what is needed for any of the 195 possible counties. 🤷‍♂️

my UK vet prepares the medical cert and vaccinates the dog. So my comment is not wrong. In USA my son's vet prepared all the paperwork for his international travel. If a vet doesn't know what's needed they, or you, can get the info from a pet relocation company.

oooookay. I think we’ve achieved clarification, but painfully.

What you just stated and what you originally stated are not the same.

What you just said is your vet knows, where previously you said ‘your vet should know’ and that’s just not true!

I’m glad for you, YOUR vet knew. I’ve shipped animals three times and all three vets knew nothing about the required criteria for my destinations.

So again, I’m sorry if you were offended but what you originally stated was misleading. 🙄

you're so determined to prove I'm wrong. On and on about it. All because I said ask the vet or ask a pet relocation company. I'm not sure why you've got such a problem.
