TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation revolves around the experiences of individuals who have returned to Thailand after completing 6 months on a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa). Most users report minimal or no questioning by immigration upon reentry. Common questions included inquiries about the purpose of the stay (holiday or work), proof of accommodation, and personal details like age and marital status. Overall, many found the immigration process straightforward, citing varied experiences depending on the officer.

What would be the point of having a multi entry visa if they're going to question you every time you come in?

Asked to see proof of accommodation

I flew to Kuala Lumpur from utapao last week then flew back into Phuket 5 days later, was only asked if I was on holiday or working, I just said holiday, stamped in for another 180 days.

Yes. No problem. Technically I did the border run at like 5 months due to chiang mai burning season. No questions asked. Workcation. Not so worried either, I can always open my laptop to prove my situation. I don’t think you have to worry unless you’re saying soft power and not actually doing what you said you would.
James ********
What is your worry?

...What was the purpose of your getting the DTV visa?

...Soft Power activity?

...Workcation?

...where did you get the DTV visa?

...Did you apply yourself ?

...What is your passport nation?

... Why don't you fly back to your home country and then come back here ?

... Why do you like Thailand so much ?

... How long do you want to stay in Thailand this time ?

... Which soft power activity did you choose ?

... Do you enjoy Muay Thai and how often do you do Muay Thai per week ?

... where is the Muay Thai gym ?

... How far is the Muay Thai gym from your home ?

... How did you find the Muay Thai gym ?

pardon me, just trying to help the person. Is that harmful?

@James *******
no definitely not. I just added some possible questions the officer could ask. Preparation is everything 🤗

thank you 👍

They typically ask if you were the one who posted anonymously in the DTV group and why you were so concerned.
Anna *********
What questions do you expect to be asked? You have a valid visa you will be checked and stamped in

@Marb *******
no but having a DTV doesn’t guarantee questions

coming from someone who couldn't even fill out their application correctly with their own birthday I'm sure you'd be the type to be denied 🤣
