Hi

Trying to obtain the Non O dependent visa as my husband has a valid workpermit and VISA.

Everytime the officer gets our papers he wants more documents or stamps. By now all documents are stamped for verification by German embassy in BKK.

No we need another stamp from ministry of foreign affairs ๐Ÿ˜ตโ€๐Ÿ’ซ on the same documents ๐Ÿ˜’

Did anyone get this stamp ? Does it mean another trip to Bkk or can it be done by mail ? Any insights ๐Ÿ˜ ???

TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat is seeking advice on obtaining a stamp from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their Non-O dependent visa application. They have encountered issues with additional documentation requests and are frustrated with the process. Community responses suggest that the stamp can be obtained efficiently in person at the MFA office, but could also potentially be completed by mail, with the caveat of possible delays and corrections. Others recommend hiring an agent for ease and mention the need for prior translations and possibly visiting the Thai consulate instead of the German embassy for this process.

My husband need also the stamps. Please ask first. If I remember you need to go at first to Thai consulate and not German Embassy. And you need a translation again. In our case we need to do like this, but please ask, befor you lost time If you want I can give you the office for translation if you need. And he offered me to work for us in the German Emassy. Please write a PN to me an I will answer you.

Translated to thai, than MFA if i am not wrong. there is a translation service on the 2nd floor of MFA building. there is a time frame that the documents is valid for, so you have to be fast.

Yes i did it also. The office is efficient but you need an appointment day. One day processing. Office in Central world.

It can be done by mail. But pre prepared for them to send something back for correction several times and for it to take several weeks.
