It's probably still early days yet, but just so we know for sure through empirical evidence, has anyone already entered, exited and re-entered Thailand on their DTV and gotten a new 180-day stamp on their 2nd entry?

I did a search for "reenter" and "reentry" in the post history and I don't see anyone sharing that info yet. (I know we all understand that's how it's supposed to work but I'm just trying to make certain that someone's actually done it :))

As I said it's probably too early for anyone to have done that yet but if someone happens to, please do share!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around experiences with the DTV (Digital Tourist Visa) in Thailand, specifically concerning whether individuals have successfully exited and re-entered Thailand to receive a new 180-day stamp on their second entry. While some participants confirm receiving a new stamp upon multiple entries, others point out that the DTV program is still new, indicating limited empirical evidence available so far. One individual stated they had already entered three times and received new stamps each time, while another noted that no one has yet stayed the full 180 days before re-entering.

I have entered Thailand 3 times now with my DTV and received a new 180 day stamp every time. Currently out of the country and will enter again on Friday and can update you then

Did the IO ask for anything particular when you re-entered?

Jargalsaikhan Erdene - Nope, but I did ensure he/she knew I had a DTV. First time, they were not prepared and had to calculate 180 days on the computer screen, but since then, they seem to have a process in place.

If you're asking has anyone STAYED in thailand 180 days then exited/re-entered and gotten a new 180 day stamp that answer would be NO no one has done that because the DTV program is only 77days old 😛

HOWEVER

There are people who have gotten DTV's just after they became available who travel extensively in and out of thailand and gotten back in on new 180 day stamps without any issue at all

I know a guy who works in Singapore every week I think he has 5 or 6 entry stamps on the DTV he has each one of them for a NEW 180 days
