Hey guys, if my current savings bank account doesn't have the sufficient amount but my Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) has more than enough. ASB is a fixed-price unit trust fund (not a traditional bank). ASB is designed as an investment vehicle for long-term growth and capital preservation, with a fixed price per unit and no sales or redemption fees.

Can I:

1. Apply using my ASB account

2. Move the sufficient amount of money from ASB account to my current savings account , show the proof of transfer and then apply for the DTV the next day. (But it wouldn't have the 6 months past record of 500,000 baht).

I am a Malaysian and thinking to apply in Malaysia.

Hi all. In the E-VISA website, in the "travel document" section, page 2, what did you put in "Place of Issue"? On my passport, under "authority", I have: "préfecture des Landes MONT DE MARSAN", should I put all of that or just FRANCE? I am applying for my visa at the Thai embassy in Paris. 5th June Visa Received.

6th June re entered Thailand. No questions. Just stamped in.

Did not change status to pending approval. Only changed to Visa Received by mail on the 5th and on the 2nd to Documents requested.

Hello everyone, I'm just curious about the "soft" Muay Thai DTV visa... if my wife were to obtain this visa, is it possible for me to apply to be a dependent on her visa? Or can you only be a dependent for the other types of DTV visas? Thanks for any info!

I have recently heard about needing to have the required 500k for atleast 6 months in your personal bank account.. By the end of this month I have well over 500k but not for 6 months yet..

Do any of you have experience with this? If this is true I have to wait a lil longer to apply😩

These crossings were easy targets for border-run agencies, But with all land borders to Myanmar and Cambodia now shut, options are drying up fast. Only a few Laos crossings remain open, and even those especially Nong Khai have tightened significantly. If you're in Thailand relying on border runs to reset your stay, consider this a serious warning

I am an American and I'm currently applying for soft power dtv through the Washington embassy. Im on the "Document indicating current location". I'm currently staying with my mom while I'm here so I don't have any "documentation". Is going and getting a hotel the only way around this? Thanks in advance!
