I have recently heard about needing to have the required 500k for atleast 6 months in your personal bank account.. By the end of this month I have well over 500k but not for 6 months yet..
EDIT: I'm asking about the dutch embassy (The Hague) specifically!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about needing to maintain 500,000 Thai Baht in their personal bank account for at least six months as a requirement for their Thai visa application. Comments from other users suggest that the six-month requirement may be accurate, as personal experiences indicate that some embassy applications were rejected due to insufficient proof of funds duration. There are recommendations to check specific embassy guidelines as requirements may vary.

some embassies want 6 months statements but don’t need the balance to be 500K THB the whole time some do. Some want 3 months some want 1 month it all depends on where you apply
Best to check on details where you are going to apply
When I applied last year I moved it from savings account to current account the day before applying. But I don't know, could have changed in the meantime.
