Hi all. In the E-VISA website, in the "travel document" section, page 2, what did you put in "Place of Issue"? On my passport, under "authority", I have: "préfecture des Landes MONT DE MARSAN", should I put all of that or just FRANCE? I am applying for my visa at the Thai embassy in Paris. Thank you very much for any help.🙂

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about what to write in the "Place of Issue" section of the Thai e-Visa application, specifically whether to include 'préfecture des Landes MONT DE MARSAN' or simply 'FRANCE'. Responses from the community suggest that both options are acceptable, and the Thai Embassy in Paris has confirmed that either can be used.

I'm answering myself and this might be of interest to someone else. I sent an email to the Thai Embassy in Paris to ask them the question and the answer is: "You can put either one" so both are correct, at least for this embassy. 👍

I will try to call the Embassy next week because I have your advice to write "Mont de Marsan" but somebody else on another groupe advice me to write only "France". So, I don't know, maybe the both are correct and maybe depending on which embassy... Wait and see

Mine said "HMPO" and that's exactly what I put, and I got approved.
