TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion reveals mixed experiences regarding crypto traders acquiring a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand. Some users report rejections due to insufficient proof of steady income, while others suggest the possibility of approval with the right documentation, such as proof of remote work or self-employment. Concerns about the perception of crypto trading as stable income are raised, with some participants advocating for the validity of other income sources like dividends. Overall, it appears that while some crypto traders have successfully obtained the DTV, it may require careful preparation and potentially a supportive financial background.

If Thai immigration accept traders who has enough cash/uninvested growth balanced in broker account, I guess (I should not guess) in probability, should be possible

In all culture, stable income is nothing better than holding a lot of cash, and paradox is, those have stable income that major from job, pension… etc, doesn’t mean stable in life

Why not? Proof of steady income isn’t even a requirement of the DTV. 500k THB in savings is + some proof of either remote work or self employment.

what's needed is proof of employment and permission to work remotely in Thailand

Crypto ignorance? That sounds like something a tranny would say about people not using pronouns.

Get over it, the whole crypto thing is still worth less than investment funds in the tiny country of Luxembourg.

Just blackrock alone hold half of that at over $47 billion in Bitcoin and then you have these Individuals With the Largest Bitcoin Holdings

nice try Mr fund manager. Luxembourg has 14+T AuM and Crypto is worth less than 4.

And what does that even mean - Luxembourg's net worth?

I could bet you my left bollock you are not licensed in any jurisdiction for anything but driving a car given the gibberish you talk.

Yes there have been and still are many scams in the Crypto space but that doesn't mean Cryptos are bad does it, just bad people, How many 'fiat' scams have there been and how many are still running today, In fact we are going through one of the biggest transfers of wealth right now all using Fiat currency and money laundering.

I lost U.S$220,000 from Blockfi when they went bankrupt because of the FTX bankruptcy. I only got a fraction back. Since then, I've explored other options than crypto. LOL

I guess they do the soft power too so I mean if you have 2 million in Bitcoin I would approve you. From what I've seen most people are having to show bank statements with us cash or similar even people that have stock accounts where the minimum amount of 12 or 13,000 needed. some want to see it for six months in account and then buy it back in. some want to see it for six months, a lot of people were able to just transfer out those stocks overnight into an account and then buy it back after approval
