Hey all, hope all of you had a great weekend.

Just trying to find the easiest way to get a visa for Thailand.

I will be 55 in January.

I have the monthly income that is required for retirement visa but not the 800,000.

What is the best way to get this visa?

I’m so looking to escape the daily struggles of living in the states and tired of just surviving, I want to live in peace and travel Asia.

I would like to make Pattaya my base but also travel to other Asia countries for vacations.

I have asked in a military retirement group but get different answers and have watched so many you tube videos and still not sure.

Any help is appreciated. I really did try due diligence and the closest Thailand embassy is about 700 miles away

Hello everyone,

This year I have entered Thailand 3 times with visa exemption, and at the airport immigration I was suggested to enter with a proper visa the next time.

My last exit was at the end of August.

Can I again enter Thailamd with visa exemption in January since it's a new year?

Thanks

Hi all... I arrived in Thailand in July on a Tourist TR six-month multi-entry visa (DTV wasn't yet available). I just flew to Penang to apply for my DTV. I was asked for additional documents which I provided. I now have this request, which I assume is asking me to cancel my Tourist Visa and upload proof...

Other request documents: Please cancel your previous visa no. Fxxxxxx

I've logged into the E-Visa portal and there is no obvious option to cancel - it expires on Jan 10. Any ideas on what to do?

Would it be possible to get a Muay Thai visa, pay for the course, and then still do some work online while we are in Thailand? Does the visa specifically state it is for work or for play or study, and if we work at the same time would we get in trouble? Or do all the visas look the same? I may want to work to fund my life in Thailand as I study at the same time? Thanks.

Considering the Muay Thai option.

Can you please recommend a gym that offers this... in KAMALA if possible.

Also, the cost.

Looking into options on the DTV.

I’m Australian, my wife is Swedish and we are heading to Sweden this week. Does anyone know for sure if I as Australian can apply for the DTV in Sweden.

Edit: I am not a Swedish resident

Is visiting Thailand too many times an issue? I went there 6 times this year, none of my stays were longer than 7 days.
